So our first week in London has been a lot of fun. We’ve gone to all of our classes and we really enjoy them. And when we say classes, we usually go on some sort of field trip during class time which has been very interesting. Ashlyn and I are both in photography, so we’re learning some techniques and we get to just go around town and shoot pictures. I am also taking Business Law and we’ve gone to a few places. I’m looking forward to being able to see some trials as well with this class. Ashlyn will get back to you on her other class as well!
The first weekend we were here, they had some welcome activities for us. We had a couple walking tours around the neighborhood we’re in so we could become acclimated. The grocery store we go to is called Sainsbury’s. We visit quite often, but it is actually very reasonably priced. We also took a coach tour, so we were able to see all the main sites of London. As some of you know, our cousin Scott is over here to which has been fun as well. Uncle Gary was here for the first weekend and was nice enough to get us tickets to the Paul McCartney concert in Hyde Park. It was absolutely amazing. It was just so cool being able to be a part of such a historic event. Thank you Uncle Gary! So there is a little update of the beginning of our week. We’ll get back to you with more details, but just know that we’re doing great over here!
